My mission — and passion – is to help individuals in their working lives, whether entry-level employees, professionals, or executives, in the factory, in the office, and on the road. Whether that help takes the form of protecting employees against injustices in the workplace or of helping individuals find their own passion in starting a new business, I am dedicated to making those individuals successful.

I bring extensive business experience to my law practice, enhancing my understanding of the issues people face in their working lives and driving my determination to assist them in making that part of their lives the best possible.
Prior to launching my legal career, I had a lengthy career in high-tech, where I was a respected people manager, directly and indirectly managing departments and program teams. I saw how easily issues of communications, resources, and personality could ignite into misplaced blame and unfair treatment, leading to claims of discrimination, harassment, unfair discipline, and wrongful discharge. I learned to look beyond the surface, to work with managers and employees to resolve issues and move forward in a more productive relationship. Now I combine my business experience with an understanding of the legal aspects of employment and labor law, giving me a wide variety of tools to use to resolve conflict effectively or to seek vindication and justice for a wronged employee.
In addition, I have found few activities as exciting as starting a new venture from scratch, which I had the opportunity to do repeatedly in my business career. Those experiences in Operations and Program management provide practical knowledge with which I can assist individuals when they decide to strike out on their own. I look forward to helping small entrepreneurs get their new businesses off on the right foot – from planning and structuring the new business to filing the necessary legal papers to launch their businesses.
